HOW TO WASH A WOOL MATTRESS UNDERLAY / UNDERBLANKET

Washing
Do not wash your Sleepy Sheep wool product in a top loader with an agitator as this will damage the product. Wash your wool product in lukewarm water on a wool cycle machine wash. Washing your product in hot or cold water can cause the wool to become agitated and could damage the product. We recommend using a commercial washing machine for large Sleepy Sheep products found at Laundromats. We also recommend using approved wool wash detergent. Note: Washing doesn't harm sheepskin products, but washing does change the appearance a little. Dry cleaning is possible if you prefer, but the dry cleaner must know it is 100% wool fiber, as some chemicals can turn wool fibers green.
